Tour de France 2016 & Fantasy League
It's almost that time of year again. Froome has won the Dolphiny, Nairo has won Le Sud. Will Dumoulin appear in France to try out his unlikely all-roundishness? Is this Contador's last chance before he fades away? Can Cav squeeze out any more stages? Is there anyone on Earth cooler than Gary Imlach?

Once again, I've set up a WHO league at www.velogames.com
League Code: 652009344518

Bon chance.

just watched the Devon stage of ToB.

Never fails to astound me how they fly up climbs that have reduced me to mantears

Devon looks bloody lovely too (or though not as nice as N Spain)

If only Sky hadn't lost the plot on stage 15

Have to agree with Torino here. Just to be in this situation is a massive achievement by Froome. I think I'm right in saying only 2 riders have ever won the TdF and the Vuelta in the same year, so be in the running at this stage is no small feat. I just think Movistar will be too strong.

Re: Tour de France 2016 & Fantasy League
Movistar are in for a tough day, Sky, Tinkoff and Orica will be motivated to fuck Movistar up. If they can isolate Quintana early enough there's hope yet for Froome. It does require cooperation with other teams though as Sky have brought their B or C team to the Vuelta. Should be a good stage.

I think the strength of movistar team will support quintana better than sky can muster to help Froome.....

Blimey, some ride from Froome today. Surely he can't win it though. Unbelievable achievement if he does.

Cant see it Torino. Froome will(or should) take quite a bit of time out of him on the TT, but unless Movistar have a bad day like Sky did, then cant see it. Sky have to attack now, so should be some cracking stages.

Does anyone think that Froome can win over Quintana now....especially with such a weak Sky team?

Today showing that Movistar team much stronger than team Sky who have left Froome isolated and without help 3 mins down on breakaway including Quintana ...50 kms to go

Great racing yesterday. Only a short climb, which favours Froome, compared to something like the Cavadonga where he has to pace himself and ignore eveyone else. Quintana is trying to take thirty seconds off Froome on every summit finish and it would have been a body blow not to have ridden him off his wheel on this one.

Speaking as a MAMIL myself, the climbs on this race are fucking brutal. 25% ramps the other day and 2km of 20% the next. I had to go deep to get up Ditchling Beacon and that peaks at around 17. Then again none of the pros weighs over 14 stone and has to carry their own toolkit.

Shame about the Fantasy League as I lost both climbers and my sprinter in the first week...

Whoever Micky Larry is at the top of the table, great pick with Atapuma. That could be the winning pick.

It's looking like it's going to be a good race.

Just realised stage one of the Vuelta started yesterday and not today!....seems I've lost a rider already as Landa did not start!....So I am reduced to 8 riders from stage 1 as don't think subs are allowed?
